Halifax moves faster than the rest of the province. More businesses, more competition, more inbound coming at you every day. If you run something here, the bottleneck usually isn't finding customers. It's keeping up with them.
That's what I build for. I make custom AI agents that handle the repetitive, time-eating parts of running a Halifax business, so the inquiries, bookings, and follow-ups get handled while you do the work only you can do.
What it actually does
An AI agent is a program that runs on a server around the clock and talks to people on the tools you already use, Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, email, Microsoft Teams, or a custom hookup into your own system. It answers questions, qualifies leads, books appointments, follows up, and sends you clean summaries. You talk to it like you would message a coworker.
A few examples from the kind of businesses Halifax is full of:
A downtown law or accounting firm gets a steady stream of inbound inquiries, most needing the same five questions answered before anyone bills an hour. The agent handles that first round, sorts the real prospects from the tire-kickers, and books the consultation.
A real estate agent in HRM lives or dies on response time. The agent replies to a new lead the second it lands, asks the qualifying questions, and books the showing, so the lead doesn't drift to whoever answered faster.
A busy restaurant or cafe gets reservation, catering, and event questions all day through Instagram, email, and the website. The agent handles them, confirms the details, and only flags you when something actually needs you.
A growing agency or clinic loses hours a week to intake and the same repeated questions. The agent takes the front line so the team works on what needs a human.
Do I need to be in tech to use one?
No. You tell me what you need in plain words. I build it, train it on your business, connect it to your tools, and hand it over. You run it by talking to it.
Why work with someone in Nova Scotia
The big AI firms are in Toronto, Vancouver, and the States, built for enterprise budgets and contracts that take half a year. I'm in Nova Scotia. I build and run everything remotely, so it makes no difference whether you're downtown or in Dartmouth, but it does mean you're working with someone who knows this market and answers his own email. Setup starts at $299, monthly support from $99, and most agents are built, calibrated, and handed off in about two weeks. Full pricing for each type of agent is on the services page.
There's also money on the table. Nova Scotia runs an AI Digital Adoption Program through Digital Nova Scotia and NSCC, with grants up to $8,500 for small businesses adopting AI. A Halifax business that qualifies could have most of the cost covered.
